Just spend the dough and get a Corsa or an ARK DT-S and call it day. No drone or rasp with either. No regrets.

I don't believe that Six had the latest solo Mach exhaust with the resonated j-pipe combination they are selling. I have seen and heard with LT and its a great sound. This was redone for LFX and to deal with header issues.

If you are getting long tubes and an axel back, you will NEED the magnaflow resonated X-pipe. I don't care what other posters say your car will sound "ricey" if you don't install it. If your going to get a catback get the ARK DTS, rasp free and sounds great. (ask Sixjak)

Drone can suck but rasp is worse because it is as embarrassing as ****.

Ummmm yes I did have the Solo's with J-pipes. Very loud and I thought it sounded awesome in certain rev ranges. Around 2200RPM it was pure UPS truck. To my ear, the ARK DT-S is smoother, less trashy and more muscle sounding and less drone than the J-Pipe Solos. And yes I did experiment with the J's and was able to move the drone up and down the rev range but not eliminate it. I get the impression that some think adjusting them changes the sound coming out the back but this is incorrect. It only affects the point where they resonate into the cabin. I think the SOLO's with LT's would wear thin on a lot if drivers after the honeymoon ended. They sound amazing at idle-very V-8 like even at low revs. Above 4000RPM at part throttle, they are stunning. WOT throttle lift off will make you think you're driving a NASCAR but to me they were just a bit much and the rev range where they don't sound good unfortunately is a spot most drivers will spend a lot if time in. I think the SOLO's OTOH sound amazing when paired with their HFC's. there are some though that would love my old set up. I've said it before and I'll say it again: One man's drone/rasp is another man's sonic paradise.

I wouldn't classify the Corsa/LT combo as raspy. It sounds more like euro or 370Z in person. That video doesn't do that set up justice. At all.
