You people just need to grow up and accept the fact some people prefer their cars to be one way and some another.

You should be happy with what you have and stop insulting those that chose something different.
Drive and enjoy your Camaro no matter what you have in it.
That's because there's a bunch of lil boy 20-something's on here now. It wasn't like this when I first got on this forum. I watched it change from informative, respectful conversations to what is is now. Bottom line, grow up!

I like Both Auto and stick personally. I've commented on this thread before but can't remenber what i posted (To lazy to look, lol)....
All though I am totally happy with my First Auto Muscle car ever, I do miss shifting sometimes.....but the paddles are usually a quick fix to cure the itch, (jannetty tune, just awesome in these L99's)....
In defense to the stick guys....The people who complain about the shifting In the LS3 , grinding and all...Are people who obviously do not know how to shift. I have driven the LS3 on a few occasions now (different cars) and everytime I have, it shifted like pure silk, so to sum it up, learn how to drive a stick before buying one!!

I bought a 2SS stick because I like to drive the car. I have two 69 Firebird convertibles, one stick and the other auto. I'm only going to keep one, and I'll keep the stick. Sure you can drink a cup of coffee and drive an auto, but there's no substitute for being in control of your car IMO.

todays stick cars are way...way easier to operate then the cars back in the day..try working the clutch on an older car, good luck this is why so many woman drive stick these days ..why you ask, because its so easy....short thow shifter, and a clutch that takes little effort to operate, the manly stick days are gone .....next, how about stripes vs no stripes now thats a debate
