Strut tower brace for early 2011
My early 2011 has the same configuration as the 2010 no predrilled strut tower brace holes and a different structure shape I Believe on the tower housing. Does anyone know if any manufacturer has come up with a brace for the 2010 and early 2011s?
Thanks, Bob |

Yes BMR is one company that makes one or two styles. I have a BMR that I modded to my liking, I still need to install it..

There are a bunch of aftermarket braces, most do not fit over a Supercharger, so i purchased the TPIS Adapter kit and used the OEM Tower!

There are PLENTY of strut tower brace options available for 2010/early 2011 Camaros. However, you must drill holes into the towers. Late 2011+ Camaro braces are direct bolt-in because the holes are there from the factory.
My Camaro is an early 2011 and I want a strut tower brace myself. I'm not too happy about drilling holes though....

Trust me when i say it was a very very easy project to drill the towers and install the OEM brace!

You got me convinced. I'm going to get an OEM tower brace for my early 2011

I might go BMR instead of the OEM + adapter kit.
Hard to argue with $189 + free shipping

I bought the BMR 2 point brace for my 2010 SS. It does not fit. It has a clearance issue to the ABS lines. I have e-mailed and called the web-site I bought it from and have had no response what so ever from them...very dissapointing. My BMR brace has at least 1/4" interference to the ABS lines.
I bought it from Thunder Racings web site. |

I put a Hotchkiss on my 2010 and love it. Still get to use the bling caps over the shock tower rubber and it will clear a Maggie. You might also contact Pfadt. They quit making them for the early 5th gens but found one laying around after I purchased mine from a member on here.
Install is kinda of a PITA, unless you are taking the front shocks out at the same time. No problem for me since I was installing lowering springs at the same time.

If you have an issue with one of our parts all you have to do is give us a call and we would be more than happy to take care of the issue. Rather than making a bunch of negative post and not giving us the oppurtunity to fix the issue give us a call and we can take care of the issue and everybody is happy. As long as you don't have the pre-drilled holes it shouldn't have any issue fitting. We have sold 100's and 100's of these strut tower braces and have had very minimal issue with them. Every once in a while we do have an issue where one wasn't welded up properly or it wasn't setup in the jig properly but we always stand behind our products 100% and take care of the customer. |
