Yep still trting to find the source. Trying to find this check valve that is supposedly on the drivers side head by the chains

Behind the drivers side header. Its where the head meets the lower block and also the transmission meets there. Its nothing though. That is only a couple drops compared to how much I'm losing. Plus i have never smelled any oil burning

Here is an underside shot of the oil in my last pic. It appears to originate from no where. I see it run down the corner of the head out of no where. I think this may be from when I took the valve cover off. Oil dripped down from the cover corner as I was pulling it up. I know I would have seen this spot before when I was looking around prior to the tear down.

Have you thought of buying tracer additive that you add into your oil and hit with an ultra violet light while wearing the appropriate glasses? Might save a lot of time and pin point the leak.
