Annnnnnd you're showing us a picture of your car sitting. Not driving............sitting.

Hopefully you enjoyed a long drive before or after the picture.

Hey folks, for those of you who missed the original airing of Optima's Search for the Ultimate Street Car, it re-airs tomorrow (Saturday Jan.5/13) @ 4PM EST on SPEED TV. It features the Optima Faceoff from Road America, which leads up to the finale @ Pahrump the day after SEMA ended.

Those into Pro Tour...and what good HouZe inhabitant isn't?!...should enjoy it...

Sooooo, the S4. About a week ago steering feel started going in and out. Most of the time felt wonderful. But sometimes it would feel like Mrs. Number 3's old 2008 Malibu, and by that I mean vague and flat for on center feel. Well last night I start it up and I have NO power steering and the service steering light on. A restart got it back.

Sad thing is all I could think of was the guy in the ZL1 thread who claimed his steering locked up.

Anyway, have to move my appointment up with the dealer. Now I won't get an Audi for loaner SNIFF. I'll just get some rental car they will rent for me. Which by the way is one of the best things about Audi service. A free loaner equal to what you have and if they can't provide it they will rent something else to give you, also free.

Very dangerous car... especially merging. That pedal on the right is mainly for decorations.

...I believe what our esteemed colleague is referring to about the "13th" is the unveiling of the new Vette....or maybe I better run to Funk and Wagnels back porch to see for sure....

Thanks for posting. Enjoyed watching it. You could tell without knowing the times that the L28 was the car to beat. I guess the driver didn't hurt either.

...well, as far as customer service goes, I have to acknowledge VW. I can see why their US market sales are up 34% this year. I do own a TDI wagon, got the GOV's tax break on it as well, and the loaner car situation is very customer friendly. I have had goodwill resolutions to issues in the past, and they do much to retain customer loyality and satisfaction. BTW the clean diesel DI and MPG was much better than the competiton at the time. If GM had a similar diesel DI/wagon product available I would have purchased it.
