Yea just a little took down Christmas stuff and cut the hood everything was perfect

Wouldn't that reduce the strength of your hood in an accident? Granted its suppose to crumple up anyway, but maybe it would crumple up to easily not absorbing as much impact as the unmodified hood.

You don't remove much actual structure. And I assume that the additional material which is probably stronger than about the one foot square of aluminum that is removed actually makes the hood stronger.

Could you do me a favor before I order one. I need to know how far back from the fronted edge of the hood opening it is to the back edge of the water tray.
It needs to ne at least 11 1/2" to the back of the narrowest part of the water drain tray for it to work with the ACS water diverter.
Also it looks from your pictures it is just laying there not attached with those clips on it. Are there attachment points for it?

hmmmm ofer, just curious for your opinion i have this installed to but i cant decide on a color. do you think the gloss black or satin black would look good on my IBM. you can see a pic in my profile pic .
