Number 5 is quite amazing! Oh and your pretty good as well Number 3.
That is quite an impressive list to be ranked so highly. 2 things I noticed. Wonder how they came up with 432 HP for the 1LE and who is Sung Kang that he could beat Randy Pobst by 20 seconds with the same car? Also, looky who is sucking hind teet way down at number 11.

318 kw (426 bhp / 432 ps) @ 5000 rpm

What does the PS mean? Did GM send them a letter and then say, PS, it really has 432 horsepower?

Yeah I don't know. I thought power steering at first. That site looks like it is maintained by amateurs...

The Willow Springs track they used is "The Streets" a very short, very twisty, almost autocross like course, not the long, high speed big track of Willow Springs where high horsepower matters. Personally I prefer the Big Track

Honestly I'm sick of the NHL's BS..... Our local minor league team has been getting my money and quite honestly I'm having more fun at the games and spending a heck of a lot less. The NHL may never see a penny of my money again......

An LS3 in an SS, with hydraulic steering but without Dual Mode Exhaust, is net-rated @ 426. Pretty safe to say, with electric steering and Dual Mode, 432 would be closer to "actual"...if not in fact understated. Corvette "wet" LS3s with their Dual Mode are rated 436, up from a Base rating of 430...

I have had this discussion numerous times with my former military folk..... honestly I don't know if anyone ACTUALLY know's where it came from.

We always used the term when we couldn't talk about something.....

But I don't think GM would relate the engine just for Germany and not here. U guess is there is a subtle calculation difference.

All your points are spot on I just think if they treated the engine they would have bumped it here for 2013

Secret Squirrel was the name of the longest combat mission in history (at the time). Fully loaded B-52's were the first to crank engines at Barksdale AFB LA in the Gulf War. They few to Bagdad dropped their stuff and then back to BAFB. The mission was called Secret Squirrel and details were kept under wraps for a couple years. I'm pretty sure these were the patches worn, probably after the war.

The reason they came all the way back is the cruise missles carried on the wings were a video guided test munition and the program had been canceled. What better way to get rid of the munition than to shoot them off but they had to come back and change the pilons and then load conventional ALCMs.

Since then the B-2's and their daily 32hr missions over to Bosnia and back from Missouri have killed this record.
