I will agree with that. It seems the EVO's respond better to mods than the Subaru. Not to say that the Subrau's are slouches. By no means are they.
Their interior is better in a Subaru, I agree.

I test drove the Evo today, and the handling is amazing. I love my fourth gen, but there is no way it compares to the handling of the evo stock vs stock.

What? Late 90s we didn't even have evos in the united states. I am completely serious. The evo is in a faster class than the f body for solo. What from the SCCA suggests the f body camaro handles better than the evo? I understand you think the evo only holds the advantage in outright grip, but you are wrong. It has more agile and communicative steering, less body roll, better balance and superior grip. The evo is praised for handling for good reason. In which aspect of handling is the f body superior to an evo? I'm not belittling the f body, but the evo is famous for great handling and anyone that has driven them on track will agree. I had a ws6 for a few years and it was not even close to as nimble and predictable as any US market evo.

Two of the main reasons I want an EVO X. Because of the superb all weather handling and the way it reacts towards mods.
Oh,....and it looks bad ass too.

I had time to kill and was near a Mitsubishi dealership, so figured I'd check out an Evo a little closer.. I took a test drive in a 2013 Evo MR and the first thing that came to mind was Go Kart! The feel for the road, steering & handling were Amazing!! That twin clutch auto shifted lightning fast also.. That Evo was Quick!

The thing about the Evo was that it felt cheap compared to my Camaro! The one I drove stickered for over $38,000 and it didn't even have leather seats! It had no extra options.. The GSR's were about $4000 cheaper.. Overall I would love to have one!

Yes, the interiors aren't really that great. But, it does hug the road and that twin clutch shifting is fast indeed. I think it can hit 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds or so. Pretty damn quick for a small turbo'ed 4 banger. The MR is more than the GSR. But, I think heated leather seating is an option for the MR and not the GSR. I may be wrong, but I think that's how it goes.

The salesmen stated that leather seats are an stand alone option with the GSR but are part of the touring package with the MR which includes a sunroof, sound deadening & something else..
