Regardless of whether I'm into the a certain build style or not, I will always appreciate good workmanship.
You can also borrow certain ideas you might like. I have gotten ideas from the Honda community! I personally will be taking the gas filler relocation idea on this project and incorporation it to my project. I love it! Thanks for taking to time to post the pictures |

What kind of black magic did they use to get it up on the table?

This is my favorite build thread, please keep sharing photos.

Think about the stock Camaro.... How much of THAT style is actually necessary in a car? Almost zero. The question is a good one, but whenever it comes to style, there never needs to be a reason. A great example is Nathan, almost nothing he has done is necessary! Is it however absolutely beautiful? ![]() |

It was very black magic! It involved a car lift, a fork lift and some ingenuity...I didn't have the nerves to stick around and watch! However, after 8mo. of patiently waiting, there was no way I'd miss it when she came off the frame table!
I'm simplifying it, but basically, car jacks were used to move the frame with my SS on it to an area near the door. Then a flatbed tow truck backed up to the frame table. The car was very carefully transferred from frame table to the flatbed. Then from flatbed safely to the ground! I took video of the entire process but it's over 10min long so here are the highlights: http://youtu.be/TOHeD1jMna0 http://youtu.be/J95IAdwnYmU http://youtu.be/GfxsMo9erqA Not sure why I can't get these to load as clickable thumbnails... THANKS again to those of you checking out my thread! Last edited by SSoCalChick; 01-11-2013 at 05:17 PM. Reason: links |

Thanks for the video. Anxiously awaiting more! Clever idea backing a flatbed up to the frame table.

You are bang on correct. Outside of required repair and maintenance, nothing NEEDS to be done. Everything else is gravy. And yes, Nathan has created something he should be very proud of! It was a pile of work (and still is) but he is realizing his vision. I like it!
