How fast in your SS? Onstar notification.

How fast have you had your SS up to? I had about 120 miles on mine and I couldn't stand it any more so I jumped on it yesterday. I got it to 116MPH and I was only in 4th gear! I can't believe how quickly it got to 100MPH, what an awesome car.

Please don't e-mail me about safety and all of that, there was no one else on the road and I was in the country with no one around. The only thing I needed to worry about was hitting a deer.

I have a defective tire pressure monitor on the front right side, it shows 0 air pressure. The dealer is trying to find a replacement since I guess they are hard to get. I got an e-mail yesterday from Onstar telling me that I have a defective tire pressure monitor! How amazing is that, the car told Onstar about the defective tire pressure monitor and they e-mailed me the same day.

Did you read my post? The Onstar e-mail had nothing to do with going 116MPH. Onstar e-mailed me about my defective tire monitor.

The speed thing and the onstar notification had nothing to do with each other. The notification was about his Tire pressure not the speed he was traveling.

Edit: he beat me to it....

Yes with OnStar you get a monthly email as well, notifying you of the status of the car including tire pressures.

If you speed responsibly," if you crash you'll kill nobody but yourself", it's all good.

You shouldn't have put the two together. it is very misleading..

The think about Onstar is that it does a check every 30 days and it will send you a email regarding the diagnostics it ran on the car.. It pretty cool

Yea? .. Dave.. .we detected you speeding ... stop it..
Huh.. how.. Shut up dave... shutting down engine now... sports car police and black helicopter in route dave. Resistance is futile.
