Why would they do that, my brother would probably tell my mother and she'd take away the keys.
Not fair. I'm selling the Camaro and getting a bicycle and an air pump. Or maybe a boat...

Onstar is cool I have on my Malibu and it was one of reasons I liked and bought the camero. What happens your car e mails you and tells you how it's doing it's great

Of course it will do over 116 in 4th. Because of the poor gearing, it should hit the speed limiter in 4th.

I'm so confused. If you're driving your Camaro in Malibu why would it be great for it to email you how fast you're going? Wouldn't you just look at the speedometer? And why only in Malibu, why not Detroit or Miami?

I have heard about instances with Corvettes and the CTS-V where people have braked hard, full force, from 120 mph to a complete stop and got a call from OnStar immediately because they thought there was an emergency. Not airbag deployment but emergency manuvers can apparently trigger the OnStar notification.

I've really been contemplating disabling my OnStar the second I get the car home. Unplugging the satellite wire, removing the fuse, whatever I need to do to safely kill OnStar without damaging the rest of my car.
