If those are not highway miles,it's probably going to need a clutch, soon.

The car looks clean and straight from the pics, the only thing I don't like is the missing engine cover. I would ask the dealer about warranty, if it were at a chevy dealer it could/should be a certified pre owned, maybe they can kick in 12 months/12,000 miles if you pay at or near asking price? Do you have the option of having your mechanic look at the car before purchasing?

Mileage does not mean it was run hard - low mileage can be worse then high mileage. Low mileage could be 1/4 mile at a time. High mileage could mean they did not start it as often - longer commute to work. note that when you start an engine it is hard on the bearings.

If its within driving distance, I would check it out just for kicks. If anything, you would get a better idea of the car and if it's right for you or not.

Looks like a good deal , If your worried about the car get the extended warranty thru the bank not dealer, for piece of mind .let them take the risk then you can drive it like you stole it ,have a blast doing it and if something breaks they have to fix it. Mine only cost me less than $1500 for 5 years . 45K is pretty low mileage really for a 2010 thats only 15k a year . Be a nice upgrade for you .

I can assure you, that Casper has never been abused, The oil and services are per schedule. I've never spun a tire ( The Factory shoes were just replaced at a little over 39k and still had some use left on them. This can be verified by a fellow forums member/ Monster Todd), never had the Nannies off, used the paddle shifters once. Its laughable , the suggestion that a automobile with 15k a year milage use has reached the end of its longevity......................
45k on a muscle car with a V8..............yea, my bet would be that it's been run pretty hard and abused by that point. we're not talking about a camry here, people don't buy them because of all the trunk space for when they take the kids to grandma's.

Regardless, if I was near this I would be up there after hours to look at it and decide if it would be worth driving.

Figure any dealer can be talked down a grand or two this has potential.

I suppose I can't argue with the personal experiences or treament by others of their own rides and if your willing to bet on it, bets are known to be hedged based upon experience.

As I pointed to earlier.......Casper, purchased new, remains as he has from day one, unabused and sparkly clean.......................... I will say from what I've witnessed passing through busy shopping center parking lots.............is those BIG trunks make for a great space for HUGE $100 Bass only sound systems, bags of stinking clothes, litter, spoiled food and drink containers. Some of the worst looking and visually abused cars I've seen, without trying to look/see are the supposive family sedans including, .......................... donked, multi dented and dirty Camry's, some nearly new models. If the oil and fluid puddles on the ground, left after they pull out are indicative of care are maintenance, they've gotta have a million miles or more on the odometer. Still can't figure out what a V8 has to do with longevity and dependability ..................objectively
