Are you running the actual Magnaflow axle back, or did you just install some custom magnaflow muffers like I have?

Magnaflow Axelback, sounds a little similar to MRT 2.0 while revving it. (Magnaflow Axelback 16584 + Magnaflow resonated X-Pipe 11386+ Stock mid pipes and resonators)

Yea I find the 2 bags of sand really help, I initially had 4 but it seemed to make my ass end sway more on sharp turns. This setup is alright but there is slight rasp every once and awhile. It just just seems so hard to get away from.

I am thinking of taking out my 2.25" mid pipes and installing 2.5" BBK X-pipe + Magnaflow resonated X-pipe. If this sounds good I wont need a new axel back, basically I am creating a custom catback exhaust.

Just my opinion, but I think your rasp is pretty minimal at this point, compared to what it would be with say MRTs or SOLOS out back. I think it sounds good, and I think a hint of rasp in the exhaust is not a bad thing. But yeah, too much rasp is not good.

Stainless steel x pipe... That would sound beastly. Why not just delete the resonators first before changing the entire piping. If the sound doesn't improve for you then do the s/s pipes.

yup thats my setup the bbk heads with s/s bbk x pipe and i picked up SLP loudmouth 2 yesterday for $150 brand new i know i know good deal huh well besides the videos SIMT3K posted for me in the llt exhuast thread ill send u more with the new axle back this weekend.
