Isn't it a waste to get the o2 extensions? Since the rear o2 sensors will throw a code anyway

They're for the front sensors, not the rears. They have to be hooked up so your computer can monitor the exhaust and trim fuel accordingly.

read some where on here that some spark plugs may touch tubes and if that happens to buy different plugs. and also heard that the clamps they give you leak.

Different spark plugs are still basically the same dimensions as the stock ones. Never heard of their clamps leaking. Their connection pipes are slip fit so all the clamps do is tighten the two slip fitted pipes together.
