c-c-c-c-ooooooooooooold! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!. Everything is frozen and still a little mixed precip scattered about. A few counties are expecting freezing rain. I sure hope we don't get any of that mess here. We got some yesterday but it was not yet icing the roads. The poor Cruze got thoroughly coated though. I think I may drive my truck. Mike does not want me to drive it to Nashville until it gets new tires but I'd rather take my chances with those tires than the Cruze. I am ready for spring already. Hope everyone have a good day.

Good Morning All.

Hope everyone is someplace warm today.


I've been focused on getting the wardrobe done to the exclusion of everything else - well, almost everything....I start my first on-call rotation of 2013 today. Things haven't ramped up completely after the holidays so so I'm hopefully it won't be too rough.

The walls and baseboard are painted, the carpet is in and the furniture is delivered so that much is looking good. The lights I liked so much at the store are not a good match for the room and an accent chair I bought after Thanksgiving has a cracked leg (thank God Kohls has a good returns policy) so I'm shopping again. Ordering the closetmaid fixtures today.
Everything always takes longer than I think....

I had a Kodak moment yesterday but no camera in hand. My cat Max, in his old age, can't get enough attention - from anyone. As I was working in my home office, I heard the carpet guy walking down the hall. I got up to see this guy gently carrying a very contented Max in his arms. He handed Max to me, saying "he's getting in my way...." We shared a laugh. Max got what he wanted so he allowed the installer finish the job without pestering him further.

The set was very cool - a big castle, and the front opened up like a Barbie dollhouse.

At the risk of posting yet another music vid that you guys don't like, I'll try one more time. This video is a commercial done to one of Gin Wigmore's songs. There is actually a video made for the song which explains the lyrics better. And there is a shorter version of this video that is pretty good too. Gin Wigmore is a new artist from Austrailia and hasn't made a big splash in the US yet.

Good evening crew. So I wonder how much freezing rain will accumulate while I sleep? Will we lose power? Will I have to go to work? Or will it stop & end up being no big deal? We shall see. I'm sure it will not be anything like the ice storms we used to have when I was a kid, but then it really does not take much freezing rain to reek havock. I left work early again today not wanting to get caught in Nashville. If there is going to be an ice storm, I want to be HOME! If we lose power we will be fine because we have a gas fireplace. I'm not sure what I want, It would be nice to stay home but with us planning to be off for 6 days and having to leave work early 2 days in a row, productivity will be the pits! No way to make a bonus & possibly getting written up?????????? not worth it. I hope everyone is safe & warm. I'm watching Barrett-Jackson & wondering if I will see our friend????????????
