The track is finished now actually Paul. They're supposed to be running sanctioned events starting late this year according to my father's buddy who races.

I believe the parking lot east of the dragstrip has enough paved space yet it's really not in good shape. Not sure they want to take parking spaces away.

Yes auto x is on the itinerary from what I've seen. Kinda wouldn't be super Chevy if it wasn't in the books. Famoso enough room judging from when I was there

That parking area where all the funny cars stick their trailers seems flat enough, and plenty big. I'm sure it'll be no issue.

At the end of the drag strip it has black top but it's pretty tore up. I was there a few months ago for the nostalgia drag races

Seriously? Good there's always something to bitch about.

I'm fairly certain Super Chevy wouldn't jeopardize anyone's ride by putting it on a worse-than-dirt surface. But by all means, best make sure the blacktop is up to snuff before moving a muscle.

Not sure what famoso you remember but the the set up area is all black top and plenty big enough. Central cal races there alot and its good enough for super Chevy

Lol. Dumb b***h lol go check it out. Maybe the bakersfield guys can go take a look. I saw it a few months ago and it's rough. Maybe they have since done some work but I agree with Revo they wouldn't make us race on shit surface
