Car Care Question

I'm 19 and my SS has 40,000 miles on it. I've put 20,000 on it over the last year and a half. My question is what are some things I should do to enhance the longevity of my Camaro?

I'm rather new to cars and I want to keep it for a very long time. I can post pics of my beast when I get to a PC.

For exterior car care check out Autopiaforums.com for all your answers to car care. I belong to the forums there and there is a great group of people and professional detailers there to answer any questions you may have.

Wash it often using only quality wash mitts and quality microfiber towels. Keep it waxed and clean and it will last you a long time.

Dean.

Best advise one can ever give and I've lived - keep your oil changed regularly, tranny flushed and front in (aligned) as these three minor things will keep the drive-train strong and the 'ride' will remain smooth.

more than anything else just don't cheap out. if the maintenance schedule, recommends something then do it.
To me, this issue has always been one of the upsides to living in a state with anual safety inspections. at least once a year a certified inspector and mechanic that I trust look over my car from top to bottom and tell me what needs to be done, what should be done, and what will need done soon. some people hate the inspections, but I've always found them very beneficial to keeping my cars in tip top shape,.

Thanks for the advice! How often/when should I get the tyranny flushed?

I plan on keeping my Camaro for a long time, I just want to be sure that I'll be doing the right things to make it last.
