I bought and used both of those. The 6667 Works very well for removal. The 4531 will not work for installing because the adapters are not long enough. The crank is counter bored about 2 inches before the threads start. maybe they sell a long adapter(needs to be about 5.5") or use a different installer. On removal, just make sure the 3 claws fit in the area machined for them(i think in the center of each cutout). Hopefully some one else can recommend a good installer tool.

Rainman is correct on both counts and I can confirm his accuracy. I used a longer bolt with large washer as my install tool. Some people get a threaded rod of the correct diameter and thread pitch with nut and large washer as their install tool. Threaded rod was impossible to find locally unless you have a Fastenal type store nearby. Of course ATI makes an install tool but it is expensive. The removal tool listed above is very sweet.

I used the first kit, worked well. Sucks you pay $100 for a tool and only use once.

Almost any puller will work to pull the OEM, I bought the ATI puller and installer with the extra part for the LS motor to install and remove the ATI damper from Summit. It was about $150 but now if need be I can install the OEM if I ever have to. I have not installed my damper yet, but I have removed and installed the OEM to make sure it is all going to work.

You will want a installer also, there are some low cost ones out there or you can use a threaded rod nut and washer. I just bought the ATI it will pull it also and is the correct part number. The second one is the best one but you also need the 1st one also. And the LS bolt adapter. Summit shows what you need.

Glad my buddy owns an auto body shop. Has plenty of tools around the shop if I don't have what I need.

That's way too much information.

We get a lot of use out of our OTC 6667 For install we use a bearing/washer, nut and threaded rod. We have a comp tool but it breaks just about every time I try to use it.

I ordered the both and some precut threaded rod off ebay. if the threaded rod shows up in time I will send the 4531 back. got to love amazon's policies.

Tangent is not exaclty a metropolis area and finding M16 rod was a no go cheap. Fastenal could get me 3m chunks but that was more than the ebay seller of the cut rod with nut and washer.

can't wait to feel was rotofab, pulley, 90mm tb, and tune feels like. with the temperatures around hear now mabe I will be able to spin the tires to say 120 or 130mph instead of just 95-100.
