I hear a rumor that the V-8 was back ordered, does anyone have proof of this?, not sure it's true.
With most of the ones I've seen being V-6's, I can't believe the rumor, help me out.
The Mole would know!

80% of the Camaro's built so far have been V8s unless something recently changed I do not see how this could be true. Or maybe they expected more V6 orders and now they are low on V8's. /shrug

well listen.....by back ordered do you mean it takes 5 months to get one.....well then yes.....other than that it is a load of crap...but i could see how that 5 month time frame could give someone that idea

With the Corvette plant closed at the moment there are plenty of engines.

No one even knows when Bowling Green is gonna reopen.

When I picked up my 2SS mon. My dealer had just got 3 more SS's and the 2 before mine was SS's so don't seem like they have 2 much shortage. But don't know for sure.

With the truck and suv plants mostly idle they are probably up to gills with v8's.

Maybe some supplies could be a problem with the money tap slowing. But not the blocks.

Would be more worried about stuff like intake and what not.
