Did you use 3M tape?

Use brand new 3m tape and scrub the door panel really good. I've found that once double tape pulls from the surface it's junk. I won't use the vender names. But I've had to replace the tape on a lot of mods I've done. I use alcohol wipes and a good spray cleaner.
Not for nothing but I installed a full under car light set that I picked up at the fest last year. I installed it at a buddy's that had a lift. By the time I got home all the light strips were dragging ![]() Clean clean clean |

If you are sticking something to plastic, you may need what's called "adhesion promoter". You can get it at Autozone. It worked great for little plaques I got from Emblempros including the door protectors right to the rear of the door speakers. Only place I had a problem was under the radio trying to stick a bass control knob. Still haven't got that to stick. Just letting it hang till I do some more mods this spring.

I got mine from emblempros, came with adhesion promoter which i found to be essential. Prepping with rubbing alcohol was not enough...

Adhesion promoter must be used for any part being taped to plastic.
With ightweight items you might get away without it, but for heavy items like the door panels you have to use it.

Adhesion promoter! I used it on my passenger side and didn't have enough for the driver side. The driver side kept falling off. I ended up buying new 3M and replacing the strips and used adhesion promoter. Never fell off again.
