I thought so, but wanted to be sure.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Mines definitely sounds like a wheel barrel. Is this a LFX issue? Has anyone solved it?

It's got to be the breather right? I mean once I took it off it sounded normal.

EDIT: Tracy from RX is going to send me a new Breather to see if that fixes the issue

I thought you had some bearings going bad then you took the cap off. Hope the new one fixes it but trying to figure out why and how the breather could make that noise.

I tried the drilling out the ports of that fitting and had nothing but problems . The breather whistled from all the air it was sucking and the catch can made so much noise I that the power steering was going bad !

Talked to Tracy and really no solution other than buy a new gm fitting.. so I did. Now the can is acting up and blew oil all over my drivers side of the motor from either the oil filler neck or some where in that area..unscrewed the breather and huge woosh sound followed.
Tells me the can or the check valve is bad. Bypassed the can to get home and had no issues other than burning oil on headers and a huge mess to clean.
placed another call to RX today.

I think its the breather did you check the check valve on it sounds like its sucking air in.

Oh the one with the three orifices that you can drill out to enlarge? What's the part number for it, I might grab another.

I'm still waiting on my new breather from Tracy. In the meantime I put the original oil cap in and placed the clean side tube back in place. As of now no problems just a little whistle that I'm pretty sure is from the orifice.
