Changing the shifter was the first thing, but
this is a stock order type and GM will not accept
it with out the dealer moving it into the system.
If it is a SOLD order, GM would come by and
pick it up regardless of the dealer or their weekly
allocation. They may be able to change the
order type, but if not, have them recreate the
order as sold and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the advice. I guess the dealer and me will be having a little meeting today..... Not a happy camper at this point.

I've been looking over this forum for a spot to ask my question and found this thread. I am new here so forgive me if I posted in the wrong area. I would like to order a 2013 Camaro with the color and options I want. I really don't need or should I say am not ready to buy until June or July. Would anyone know the cutoff date GM will stop taking new orders at the dealer for 2013's? I asked my local Chev dealer here in Indiana and they didn't have a clue or would rather sell from stock. I'm looking to order a 2LT in Inferno orange with the white rally stripe. Thanks for any help.

Typically the new 2014 production will start after the
4th of July Holiday shutdown in early July. So, sometime
Mid-July they will start building the new models. They
will cut off taking the 2013 model orders probably
sometime in April or May. I haven't seen the schedules
yet, but they should be out soon. My advice is to you
is to order it in April so you don't have any hiccups. You'll
get it a little sooner than you want it, but
