XM Interfering with HUD today?

Morning, I noticed last night that the XM display (band name/song title) is double bumping right now on XM radio, which in turn is messing with my HUD.

e.g. On Ozzy's Boneyard for example, it has a 'baseline' display of 'Ozzy Osbourne, No More Tears' and then as a new song plays, it shows the name of that song, for 3 seconds and then reverts back to 'Ozzy Osbourne, No More Tears' and then reverts back to the name of the current song for 3 seconds and then back to the 'base' message again.

This happens on all XM radio stations, started happening last night, but isn't happening on local radio stations, CD, or AUX etc, so I know it's an XM issue.

When you are looking at the HUD, it shows that same information, and it's now really distracting on the HUD. Now of course, I can switch off the HUD or switch to regular radio/CD/AUX, which I subsequently did.

I put a call into XM this morning, and got straight through, and they claim they will escalate my call (yeah right) to an engineer to have a look at.

Just wanted to find out if anyone with an XM subscription noticed this alternating display today as they were driving to work?

I am going to check with other XM subscribers here at work, but noone else has a Camaro here.

There is another thread here about this. It's been going on for a few days now. Mine started acting up on Friday.. then my xm subscription ran out on Saturday so it's not a problem for me anymore.. LOL

Doh, I even looked for another thread about this before posting. Obviously not hard enough! Started happening for me yesterday evening.

Wonder how many other people have called in to them.
I know I have, but that doesn't mean anything will get done.

Glad to see I am not the only one with an issue with it.

If you want to call and mention this issue to XM so that we can get it resolved, this is the number I called and got right through.

Drive to work today.. same thing. Changed XM channels, thinking it was only the channel I was on. Nope. Still there. Pretty sure it's just an XM glitch, and nothing "Camaro related."

However, I will agree... it's annoying as hell.

Happened on a lot of channels. Octane has had Black Veil Brides listed on every song at some point. I'm sure the band is loving the free advertisements

All the XM stations I listen to is having this problem. The HUD changing all the time is a distraction. I switched to my "Flash Drive" music this morning as a solution.

My HUD too, started last night. Super annoying!! Keeps going from my RPM/Speed to radio station. I hope they fix the problem quick. Was already dreading taking my car in to the dealer thinking my HUD was screwed up.

Started happening to me also. Just noticed it today. Only been happening on Octane that I have seen so far.

I tried 4 different stations and it was doing it on all 4 so I just switched over to my itunes..

Noticed it on my new Cruze last night, although I do not have A HUD in it, the display screen on my link screen is doing the same thing. I gotta check it out in the Camaro later, and see if the HUD is acting up.
