Got my black on black m6 2013 ZL1 earlier this month.

I've wanted a 5gen since 2008, and though it has been a long wait I have to say it was worth it. I was a bit unsure exactly what I wanted at first, but I knew I wanted something special, so I almost pulled the trigger on a Dusk edition SS and a black 1LE before going with the ZL1, and I'm glad I did. There were some difficulties with dealerships which I won't go into here but you can read if you are interested http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=270369. All in all everything worked out and I'm now driving my dream car (although I have to say I have mixed feelings about using it as my DD; I'd like to keep it in pristine condition but at the same time it's just so dang fun to drive!).

Received my 2013 IOM at the end of October after trying to land one of these for 14months. Just to bad the snow was already here when it arrived. Dealership delivered in car hauler into my garage and I now just walk by it every day just waiting for spring.

Couple of months ago my BIL left his BMW M6 at my house for a couple of weeks while he was out of town. I drove it twice, and had so much fun I decided that my F-150 was no longer necessary. I personally am more of a muscle car guy, so when I started looking at performance cars, my attention went straight to the Camaro. I loved the style of the ZL1, and since my truck was paid off, and my wifes car a month from being paid off, the numbers worked and I pulled the trigger last Thursday on a Black on Black Convertible ZL1. It happened to be exactly the car I was looking for, and it was sitting in a showroon 4 miles from work.
