Well give em' hell dkknight, and good luck. Hopefully you can be compensated in some way or another. On another note. How do you like the car so far?

Wish you were back in the states man. You are missing all the fanfare and attention. Getting thumbs up from dudes in BMW's and Mercedes. Dudes in 370Z's pull up on the other side in a 2 lane street and purposely stay 1 whole car length behind me because they don't want ANY of me!! Hahaha!! This is a slip-up, I'm sure, but I should be compensated somehow.

Dealers should have a form called a "we owe". On that form they can put down what you paid for that is not on the car currently. If you paid MSRP for your vehicle, and the invoice shows that the car is supposed to have certain options that are not installed, you should have no problem getting the dealer to fix the issue once the parts become available at no cost to you.

dont cry over pennies a month be greatful you got your car ..most of the times these packages are sent way before the car arrives .most likely deal with the parts guy .or service .they get missed placed or stolen .sales men dont receive shippments good luck

My dealer (who might be an idiot) said that the GFX are being redesigned due to the double sided tape not holding up.

so.......... I am waiting for the new, "redesigned" piece to come in..... while driving around in a piece that may fall off at any moment.

guess we shall see

That's ridiculous. I say raise a little hell at the dealership and see if they can move it along a little...

My question is why didn't you realize this and or get it in writing at delivery time?

This is when any defects or whatever is wrong has to be documented. Photos over every part of the car, outside, inside, underhood, underbody have do be taken.

Got my car cover days after the car. Almost two weeks later they called that my stripes were in. No sign of engine cover. Yes I'm paying interest on it but I'm driving the car and it will get here when it does.

If the dealer sits down at delivery and says ok this is on order still. And when the new brembs come in we will call you and swap them out. That's the kind of stuff they should do to for ya.

On my sticker, I paid MSRP (which is fine), but my dealership (most likely GM's fault), charged me for the ground effects kit, which I did order, and failed to deliver the car with the part. Now we're talking about $2200.00 which includes installation, and all the numbers were finalized. Now I'm paying 7.1% interest on ground effects I don't have, and nobody seems to know anything about it. I should have been compensated with a better rate or waited until the accessory came in before they started charging me interest on it and I feel I've been robbed. It isn't fair and I'm going to have it out with the sales manager at 9:30AM because I'm pissed!!!
You're only talking about $13 per month. I think you should just be patient and wait for your ground effects. At least you have your car.

The salesman fed me a line about the ground effects being in their "basement" and it cannot be accessed until the next business day which was Monday. Then conveniently said they weren't there on Monday with no knowledge of when they'd be getting them in.

You're going to get it eventually, just be happy you have your car.

Don't be surprised about lines being fed when a dealer is involved. I can name you a ton of lines a dealer will say to get you to give them your money immediately and the car signed away.
