Victory red if you want to be looked at everywhere you go, CRT if you want something close to that but not as common, and black if you want understated and classic. I went black bc I don't need or want all the indiscriminate attention a red car brings. People who know cars see my zl1 and are like wow, while people who don't know are either like, yeah that's a cool car or eh, just another camaro. I like it that way. Allows you to have basically a super car but still fly under the radar at times.

CRT, had a Black 10, 2SS, everyone loves the new CRT. Black is way cool but very common. CRT cleans up and appears clean longer than Black. VR, again very common. CRT will soon be taken out as a color, leaving you with a unique ZL1.

I am partial to the metallics and looked at many camaros (not ZL1s) to decide which color looked best. Look at various times of the day.... The metallics have different hues in sun, shade, street lights so more appealing to me. Good luck!!

The cool grill on the New Camaros get lost on a black car, or dark ones for that matter also they are tough to keep clean. But look great when clean. One other reason I went with no metallic was that if any touch up or painting is done, it is easier to match a solid color. Metallics are hard to match because now you are matching the metallic and the color and getting them right is hard to do.

There has to be one sitting on a lot if you didn't want to wait.
Of the three, go CRT |

Good luck. |

Couldn't be happier with my choice of CRT. Beautiful color, especially on a sunny day!

Thanks for all the replies! My '70 camaro is basically CRT with black stripes, so I'm definitely considering CRT for the ZL1. I went to a dealer and looked at all the colors available and am down to VR and CRT. I'm still going back and forth...

CRT looks really nice and was not available when I ordered my IOM, but that would be my choice. Besides black being the most prevalent color on a ZL1 (37% of 2012s), it is going to be really hard to keep looking good and swirl free.

A ZL1 is not cop stealthy in any color. I would pick CRT between the two.
