Offer now that you have the harness and what not, do you think you will offer a kit for just the bezel. I don't want mylink or any of the jazz but do want a double din unit. I hate the look of the metra and the alpine/scosche looks okay but seems kind of cheesy.

I would imagine that if you used the a different double din w/ the MyLink bezel you would end up with a bunch of useless buttons/knobs (volume, tune, tone, etc etc) as most of that would be done on the aftermarket double din itself.

I agree that the metra/alpine/scoshe pieces do look kinda dumb, and would opt to use the MyLink bezel, but all the extra buttons/knobs that would do nothing would be kinda lame to me.

I wouldn't mind a MyLink setup, but that's a hell of a lot of money to swap one in... I applaud Offer for taking on this task, and I'm sure a lot of people will probably pull the trigger on it, but unfortunately I just don't have that big of a pocket book.

Yeah I went back and looked at a my link setup and see your point exactly. Didn't realize at first that all the buttons were on the bezel itself. Seems GM really doesn't want us changing the radio setup at all.

If you would hurry up and finish that cold air intake there would be more coin in your pocket.

Haha, I was hoping that once Offer gets this done, if a couple thousand people do a MyLink swap and buy a MyLink screen protector from me I might be able to afford this swap myself. That's dreaming big though
