Not the first time Camaro was made in CANADA.
1993 was the debut year for the fourth generation Camaro, and production continued until 2002. Production was moved from GM's Van Nuys, California, assembly plant to Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada in 1993

The Camaro was born in the US of America and is an American Icon. The fact that some aspects of its existence in Gen 5 occurs outside the US is an indication of realities of the global economy that exists today. I don't think that any American vehicle can claim 100% of the design, parts and labor are from the USA. Could be wrong, but I doubt it. I'm perfectly happy and proud that our northern friends have done a great job of building these fine cars which I consider "American Muscle".
