HuJass, Thanks for helping everyone out with the tracking. Just wanted to pass along a reminder though. GM is now updating info for the AREA 51 QC held cars. They will stop updates if we continue to use other than automated tracking. They will stop updates if we contact Translogic or other trucking companies for information. After Area 51 is cleared out we are working on getting updates for every Camaro 5 member to be posted and updated on a regular basis. This would be better and more accurate than calling our dealers, DBC or customer service. Sure this may not affect your cars since they are already coming but there are a lot of folks just now moving thru the system that would love to be able to track their cars.

I understand that the folks at the rail companies and trucking companies have been very helpful and friendly but I can assure you and I will qoute GM
If we continue to contact the live personnel of these carriers. Fodfather will be asked to send out the black suburbans. Please refrain from using non automated efforts to track cars. Or all information will be locked down.

In fact here is the exact copy of the warning:
I also added a new term "rail ramp" under the "rail car" column. This indicates the car has arrived at the Vehicle Distribution Center (VDC) and is awaiting to be loaded on a truck and sent to the dealer. This is usually a 48 - 72 Hour process. I know there will be members tempted to call the ramp and ask for the vehicle to be expedited -- PLEASE DO NOT CALL ANY RAMPS. They follow a specific process and calls will only slow their process down. If we discover members are calling, Fbodfather will dispatch the dreaded Black Suburbans.

For Canadians

Call CP @ 1 888 999 8111 and enter the rail car #. It will give you the most recent departure from the last stop.

You must get the rail car # from your dealer.

Mine left Swift Current tonight at 7:15 pm.

Well my car is finally in BC. It left Calgary AB this morning and is now arrived in Golden BC. After 4 TPW it feels good to know it's this close.

It will pass thru here tonight on the way to the terminal at the coast. Like waiting for a newborn on the Due Date.

Well as luck would have it the car is on the way thru town right now but it is pitch black outside. The local rail office told me it will be in Vancouver tonight. That makes it a week earlier than the invoice ETA.

Found out this morning that they ship the cars to the east coast the long way around. From Oshawa to Detroit then over to the Baltimore area. I'm sure if you are in the DC area your car will probably be left off at Jessup, MD which is just south of Baltimore. BTW it took my car 11 days to get to Jessup, it left this morning on its way to Twin Oaks, PA. The wait is almost over!!

ugh, i would say my car is well behind that. it took my car 5 days to get into detriot, then today its only in ohio (crestline). meaning if its going to be on the same track yours is on it basically has to hit jessup tomorrow. any idea you know your timeline?

Well, like I said, it left Baltimore this morning at 8:45AM for Twin Oaks, PA which is only about an hour by car, so how long could it take? I'm guessing it should be there by tomorrow the latest. Just noticed you are in DE, I'm just guessing yours will probably go to Twin Oaks as well which is just south of Philadelphia.

I wouldn't have my heart set on Tuesday even if it arrives today. From the information I've gathered on this site it can take anywhere from 48-72 hrs. to get to the dealer once it's off the rails. Is your rail car ETTX800576? Mine left Baltimore at 8:45AM en route to Twin Oaks today.
