I think it was a temp closure more south somewhere, I don't think it still is. Heard their was multiple accidents though.. roads are definately nicely covered.. it will be a fun ride home Prob a few drifts and donuts surely in the sights.

On another note.. a newer red corvette convertible passed me last night going home, dirtier then my car with dirt and salt.. I was like, aw how cute.. even bigger bro drives in the snow sometimes lol

Once the traffic clears it shouldn't be too bad. The parking lot is starting to empty out though... donuts might be in the future.

I heard it was something like I-79 was closed between Bridgeville and Cranberry, but that's what my boss said

I fishtailed a good bit on the way home. Lost traction multiple times. Spun out 3 times, unable to move. Had to turn the wheel, give it gas real slow, just to get to a point where I was able to move a tiny bit. People started to piss me off though, because they knew i was having trouble and they tried to pass me (come from behind, change lanes, then change lanes back in front of me) - almost got hit 4 times because of these crackheads. I understand you're in a hurry, but damn people are impatient and rude on the road.

One chick had me almost get out of my car and literally want to rip her out of her stupid ugly eclipse, she saw me rolling through an intersection (no stop sign for us, but there was for her) and she wanted in so with me going 5-10 mph on a roll she just jet in and cut me off, obviously i couldnt break or i would've fishtailed a ton and hit a parked car on the street (this was in dormont, if you know Potomac ave you know how dangerously close the lanes are to the parked cars) - it's these types of people that make me rage out on the road, those who feel the world owes them something, they take priority on the road, you wait for them, etc.

One of these days I'm going to figure out a way/tactic to just **** someone up who pulls this shit. You know, roll on by the person and molotov their car or something. Something that would freak them the hell out, but not necessary get the cops called on me

I need a damn 4x4 truck again!

Or some better all seasons or winter tires.

I have the General G-Max all season tires and they're pretty impressive in light to moderate snow. I still want a set of winter wheels that I can throw all out winter tires on. I just couldn't find a decent set of wheels before winter.

You know what pisses me off in the winter? People who try driving their vehicles without proper tires. They go super slow, lose control, etc.

Long gone are the days of my Camaro being a DD in the winter. +1 for a SUV

#1. I came up 79 from claysville exit on 70 at 1230 til 400. 79 was slow north bound. But southboud looked a mess. Traffic ws damn near stopped south of southpoint...

#2. You were driving a car that doesnt go in snow. But yet you are bitching about others passing you? Get ****ing real.... I just spent three days and $650 to find my girlfriend snow tires and wheels for her g8 she bought on monday. So she is safe and so she isnt the fu<kface holding traffic uo. Get some wintertires and dont be a cheap skate and risk others safty because you are cheap...

The car can go fine in snow, with proper driving and tires as with ANY car or truck, and granted its not 12inchs deep. Ive seen more suvs in poles and ditches than anything. Mostly driver fail not the car. And driver fail is tire fail for not getting them lol

Define proper tires though. Where do you draw the line? Summer tires instead of all seasons? All seasons instead of winter? Winter non-studded instead of studded? Or does it depend on the road conditions at the time? Slush, snow, or ice?

In general, I agree with you guys. But I've been out in a car with snow tires and hit icy conditions where snow tires don't help. Sometimes conditions are unpredictable.
