Angry Powder Coating Question/Help!!

After looking on cars.com for months, I finally got my car. It's a 2012 2ss/rs ls3. I really want to get my rims powder coated gloss black. I called up several local powder coating places (South FL) and they all said i would need to have my rims taken off and brought there. There is EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT for me. I dont even know how i would take them off or where i could keep my car for three days with no wheels on it. I need some help and suggestions!

Either you deal with the hassle or you buy some already done and sell your rims. No other way around it unless someone has a spare set sitting around they will let you use for a few days.

Mine are powder coated gloss black and clear coated. Love mine.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did they quote you to powdercoat them?

You could try plastidipping them, with a glossifier. At least then you wouldn't have to take em off. Sure it's not powder coating them, but you can still get a pretty good look.

I swear, I read some posts on these boards and wonder how some people are car owners

You can go this route:
