It works it's just dealing with a lot of torque. I tested it a couple of days ago when the temparature was around mid 70's. I took off normally and around 25 mph I gave it some serious throttle and you could hear the tires squeal and see the icon light up. I could feel the T/C trying to compensate.

Thanks! I'll turn it own when I drive it this weekend. I wish you could choose the default start mode especially for safety reasons.

PTM 3 is really helping me understand the technology. The idea of maintaining my intended path and letting the computer deal with the variables is completely opposite of my natural instinct to correct. It's almost video game like when you stay in it past where the computer straightens you out. I took my buddy for a ride a few days ago and he commented on how I used the PTM modes saying "It's good to see you using the technology." You learn real quick that shifting this car under boost if done incorrectly just about launches you out of the seat through the front window, embarrassing with passengers.

well i just finished breaking in the engine and tried a couple of modes. i tried PTM 3 which was good, but preferred PTM 4 in my opinion it gives you more control over the car which i like. i havent tried PTM 5 yet but i am willing to try it soon.

Glad to see you guys are still posting what "mode" you drive in. Seems there are some good reasons to use certain modes.

I don't even use the PTM modes on the street, I find it cuts your power way too much. Sometimes, in the canyons I keep it on PTM 3 or 4 but it's rare. The only PTM mode I use often is PTM 1 for rain.

hey guys I wondered where the real power was until I found a thread about holding the buttons down for 5 seconds and truly cutting it all off.breaks sideways at 40 mph , spins from a stop till you let off, feels like 580 hp. I dont drive that way much but it made me feel like I truly got what I paid for. Enjoy at your own risk
