It's a detailing store. They are a sponsor of the forum.

I ordered some polish, polishing pads, compound, compounding pads, clay bar towel with lube, cobra drying towel, detailing microfibers, and some car wash soap...

Nothing to feel guilty about (I'm biased). The 20% off and free shipping gives you huge savings and it looks like you definitely did your research before purchasing. Looking forward to the results!!

With the optimum hyper compound and polish, make sure to shake very well and then
Squeeze the trigger very forcefully. I find I need to use a lot less of the compound than the polish to do a job. Priming the pad with ohc, I only use one spray and spray as needed. With ohp, I find it needs two sprays to prime, and then spray as needed.

Microfiber pads are pretty useless if you do not fluff up the fibers every panel or half panel with a nylon brush. If you treat them well, they will treat you very well

Awesome list and all the products are good quality so I think you will be.very happy!

I love the Optimum hyper system. I got great results on my black paint, just clean those pads early and often...

When the fibers get matted down, take your brush and hold it against the pad with the PC on. It'll spin against the brush obviously and fluff it back up. Then do the next panel. Do this often.

To clean them, you can throw them in the wash with your other microfiber, or you can hand scrub in a bucket with your brush and some all purpose cleaner. They are much easier to clean than foam.

Looking at your list- what are you using to apply the bfwd? You can apply by hand but I much prefer to do it with a pc since it allows you to get a nice even thin layer more easily. You'd want a red lake country pad.

Use the pad brush after every section, and change pads about every 4 panels. For example I used 4 polishing pads on my Camaro to complete it.

I wash mine in the washer with my towels after a presoak in hot water and APC. Works great!
