LOL!! I was gettin about 21 to 22 on a 21 mile drive which would be about half and half hiway and stop / go. But I did like to hustle her thru traffic. As long as it doesn't drop to 8mpg like my old pro street car I'm good.

Lol Yellow! I hope not! I'm looking at getting this done later this year and I'm already averaging 17.5 mpg on a tank!

Yea, well my average speed on a tank is only like 25-27 mph thanks to base speed limits being 25-35 mph and San Diego rush hour traffic is pretty slow too!

I feel like something went wrong and we're not gonna get our numbers.

The good thing about being pessimistic is that you're either right or pleasantly surprised.

You guys!!! Lmao - you guys have no faith...

We got the car th Matt's late this morning and it running rich - real rich - about 11.1 and be about 13.2 13.3. Tracy emailed Vince so Chakita sat on the dyno for about 3 hrs and had to Lille her off the dyno since Matt had a paying tune and didn't have the update back. That's the bad news.

For the good news - been driving her all afternoon and into tonight - as rich as she is she still runs real strong. she idles with a slight lope sort of like the mild ghost cam but the idle will rock the car occasionally. She does sound different: a stronger exhaust pulse with just a bit deeper tone.

Low speed driving below keeping the rpm below 1800 she drives like a stock v6. Just off idle under light acceleration you can hear and feel the extra overlap in the cams - nothing negative but enough to let you know there is something extra in there.

I did a easy start from a light and put my foot to the radiator and she lit up the rear tire no problem. My wife said a few bad words - she was not amused- i justiled. She pulls much harder than before - I shifted about 6k and barked second and was running up on 70 which was double the posted limit. We headed to Matt's and went down the interstate for about 7 miles. She has excellent hiway manners. Cruising in 6th about 70 - 72 she is smooth running and no surging or any negative effects from the extra parts.

The only drawback is I had to relearn how to drive her so I'm not as smooth putting her thru her pages as I was a few months ago and we added a few suspension prices but we may have to rethink the approach or I may need driving lessons.

Overall, very pleased with the results just need the new tune file and get the AFR right and tracy or I will post the final numbers. We only did the 1 pull and still saw some false knoch about 5500 wher timing was being pulled and the ECM was trying to add it back.

I'll have some more drive time on Sunday before I return her to Tracy for the updated tune and redyno the she comes home. Will post more when I get back to Texas.
