Anyone know how many R6P Camaro's were made?
Based on the post about the 2010 Camaro SS being a collectors car in 25 years I'm wondering if R6P Camaro's will be worth more? Obviously they are much more rare which usually equates to more value but I don't know how rare or how many R6P Camaro's were made.

I believe R6P is a letter from GM thanking you for your purchase with the order number, date, etc etc...only on early order camaro's...some people say they got it in the color of the car they ordered. Some didn't.

I think the first 14,000 (aprox) were R6P models but I'm not 100% sure on that

R6P was the build code for the Pre-Order only cars. I don't recall how many were made..

. i dont have one but would like one but a 2010 is a 2010, having the first year is always the coolest

If you was to go out and buy a '69 Camaro would you ask if it was built during the first month production started and pay more if it was? Didn't think so. The only '10 Camaro that will be worth more then the others is number 1.

I was one of those. I ordered a V6 so I had to wait wile GM built some 5000 V6 cars for dealers. Then the Standard trans for the V6 was on hold. I thought my car was never going to be built.

With only 11,000 made they are WAY MORE rare than the production 2010 cars. You guys that don't think they would be worth any more than any other 2010, don't you think they would be with only 11,000 being made? Russ |

Not if they were exactly the same. The R6P's are not the same as the production Camaro's.
