Thats nice and congrats but how did you end up with more torque than hp and why does the hp fall off at 6k rpm?

I was waiting for someone to ask that , haha... That is a good question, most of the VVT-2's I have done have less overall torque and power (Remember this is on a Mustang dyno so figure about 12% LESS than your average dynojet where I usually make like 430-435rwhp / 410rwtq)... I'm using the TSP phaser tables of course, and a total of 25* upstairs since it is the lower compression L99... Holding timing, etc. and MAP values barely drop off upstairs (Which is expected on a LS3 intake). So maybe in the cam grind? Either way, I like how this turned out because figure this is making ~450/460 on a Dynojet

Pretty good numbers considering a Mustang dyno. Add 12 % and that puts one around 468rwhp on a Dynojet. Matt what do you see with the VVT-3 camshaft with similiar mods?

Have not personally done a VVT-3 yet... I have done the LS3 conversion a LOT but a lot of the time it is with a traditional style cam setup for boost or future boost (So ECS Big Blower Cam like the one we just did in Panama City L99)

I like the N/A setups, we don't see too many of them in comparison to FI builds.

I see that you guys used the triple disk converter. Did you guys lock it up on the dyno?

What difference does it make being locked or not? Curious.

~5-8% ... This is the FTI triple billet so I'd keep this thing locked down the track also... We'll have some track numbers soon once we put a set of DR's on this beast
