You are right. I guess I don't really need two however if the tire is shredded no one will have a replacement in stock so that SS tire will have to get me home.

My Man! Living in California I see, can only imagine what you've had hidden in the trunk??? Must be doing it right, thirty year cover and still going! Right on my brother! ps, I never let them search the trunk without a warrant. Like I told the judge "she likes riding in the trunk". And yes, two do fit.

Why would you shred a tire? Are they worn? They have bald spots? Running over 130MPH for extended periods of time? Have you ever shredded a tire in your life? Just drive the car and use the flat repair kit supplied? I was given advice from a from an old girlfriend years ago when we were together. If you want to keep it simple,"don't over analyze the relationship". Just take the one wheel with you if you are paranoid about having a flat!

Lets say you bring two SS wheels and God forbid you blow out 3, then what ya gonna do? I think if anything, bring the one wheel and like 1MtnGoat said, bring a couple cans of flat repair Have a safe road trip and you might want to put a clear bra on it too before you go. Definitely worth it

Thanks for all the helpful advice guys. I am going to a big fight in Vegas at the end of March and plan on hitting, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Oregon and Cali to visit mom. Not sure in which order for the last two. Just want to be on the safe side but as has been said maybe I'm over thinking this whole thing.

This is boxing! Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios vs. Mike Alvarado Part II. Their first encounter was one of the greatest fights I have ever seen. Here are the highlights of the first fight! Simply amazing. Mayweather gets all the press and hardly ever takes a tough fight, but these two guys deserve the big bucks. True warriors. I can't wait! It will be live on HBO if you don't make it to the fight.

I agree. Rios is my favorite. I love the way he goes back to his corner between rounds telling his cornermen he's having a great f*ing time. He loves the toe-to-toe action. Nonstop action. Wow, if its anything like the first fight, you're gana have the time of your life! What a great drive you're gana have in the ZL1. That's some of America's most beautiful scenery. Have a fasts and safe trip. I recommend bringing along a good radar detector.

Now that I'm thinking about this, I've been planning a trip to Vegas to go to "Exotics Racing" and take an Audi R8 V10 around the track. I know, most people dream of driving a Ferrari or a Lamborghini maybe even a McLaren around the track. For me it's the R8 with the V10. $249 for five laps, not bad, most car shows you can't even touch the cars. Here you can sit in everyone of them and decide which one you want to drive. Well all except the Aventador, that one they keep locked. One day/night the fight and the next day on the race track!

Put a roll of duct tape in the trunk in case you get a sidewall puncture and maybe one of those tire patch kits that use the coated rope that work from the outside. I had a sidewall puncture flat on a RFT on a Vette4 and a roll of duct tape would really have helped at 5:30 in the morning.
