Okay guys, I'm not real good with this technology stuff. I don't even know what an MP3 player looks like. I don't know anything about flash drives either. Anyway I just got an Apple iPhone 5. I've downloaded Pandora, and Stitcher. Does anybody here listen to Pandora, or Stitcher through their car radio? I have a 2013 2LS, and I think I can pare my iphone with the stock radio, and listen to these 2 stations. Would I be correct on that?

Also, my free 3 month subscription to XM radio expired, and my XM radio got cut off in my car. But about 2 weeks ago, I flipped on an XM radio station in my car, and my XM radio is back up and running. Maybe this is some kind of promotion deal, with XM radio hoping I'll subscribe to their service.

Anyway, I'm now listening to Pandora radio for free on my computer. I like it. I got the free version of Pandora and Stitcher.

Uhm, I just watched this video from Best Buy. I guess if I want to know more about this, I could just go to Best Buy.

Im fully not quite ure how the iPhone works as I have an Android, but for me I can't sync(connect device utilizing a USB cord) to my 2010 like an Apple device. I can only use my Android to play music if I place all my MP3s in a particular folder. If I want to play Pandora, Spootify, or iHeart Radio, I have to use a basic audio jack and connect it through my headset. I'm sure that the 2013s accammodate more to the iPhones than androids, but if there's a will there's a way my friends.

In regards to your XM subscription. You'll be hearing lots of "XM is a bunch of BS and I don't feel like I should pay so much for stupid radio!" or something of that nature. You'll hear people that are all for it and that are completely against it. Kinda like Republicans and Democrats, but that's a whole new can of worms. Every Camaro that came with XM setup will always have the 3month trial period, unless you got yourself the 2012 XM Camaro. If you don't renew your subscription of XM after the trial period, every now and then XM will put out weekend or 2 week preview promos where they will allow their stations to be aired for free, but only for those two weeks, and only the stations that don't contains explicit language (marked w/ xL next to the station). After the two weeks are up all the stations go black. What they are trying to do is entice you to pay for their $150 annual rate for XM, but you can haggle your way to a cheaper rate like I have done, or get free XM for a certain period of time.

If you want the annual XM subscription, the lowest they'll go is $75 a year. The way to get this is to call em and say that you are liking XM and such but can't pay the huge subscription, try to lower your rate to $75 and vuala, half price XM. Another trick you can do is inform'em that you want their radio but are going through some financial hardships and won't be able to make any type of commitments until the end of the month or the following month. Here they'll give you an offer where you can receive XM for FREE for 3months, no catch, and then they'll start charging a monthly rate of $14.95. Once that 3month FREEbie expires call em up and try to haggle to the $75 annual rate. Sometimes if you're disconnected from XM, they'll send you an offer letter, like I have here, that they'll give you 6months of XM for $25, but I am not sure how they decide on whom gets that.

If you enjoy your XM, then get it, but use these tricks and tactics to get the best price out there that won't hurt your wallet. And trust me these DO work, LOL. About getting info on MP3 players and such, there so many places on the web that'll offer information bout them like cNet.com, Crutchfield, and other Davy sites, you just gotta look for em.

Thanks Charlie for the info. Yeah, if I decide to try out any of this MP3, or flash drive stuff, I can just go to Best Buy, and I'm sure they can help me get started with all this technology stuff. I could show them my car, and they could tell me what I need.

Don't be asking 'em what you need in your car, cause then they'll be suggesting that you'll need this and want that, so on and so forth. Know what you need first before you ask the question "What do i need?" That's how they get ya, especially if you don't know what it is that you are looking for.

I know that you can listen to pandora either by Bluetooth or USB connection on the iPhone. I have an old 3G iPhone and I can listen to it either way. Bluetooth is set up as two connections, one for the phone and one for the music. I don't remember how I set up the music side, sorry (just tried before I wrote this).

Xfactors, I have an android phone and stream Pandora via an AUX cable, just connect it and select cd/aux on radio (you have to have AUX cable plugged in to switch to AUX). But if you want to listen to Pandora via bluetooth, I believe you may have to purchase a PDIM setup from GM. I tried to stream Pandora via bluetooth but found that it is not an option on the LS (unless you get the PDIM setup). I do have an '11 2LS so not sure if it changed for newer camaros.

I believe so, you'll need to pair it as "music connect" (some like that). Don't know the specifics since I could not do it on my camaro .

Uhm, I just went to youtube and typed in, "pairing iphone5 via bluetooth in 2012 2ls camaro." It came up with a bunch of videos showing how to do it. I'll look over these videos when I have time.

Maldo818, I bet your camaro looks a whole lot like mine. You have a black 2ls like mine. That's a nice looking car.

... well I'll be damned! After owning my Camaro for nearly 3 years, I am still finding cool things that my baby can still do. Just synced up my Droid RAZR via Bluetooth to stream all my music i.e. Pandora, MP3s, iHeartRadio, etc. without any damn wiring. Athough I do like the sound quality that comes out while using the wiring better, but that is still freakin' epic!

Nice! I was bummed when I found the LS couldn't. I could purchase the PDIM kit but figured if I ever do that, might as well upgrade the whole radio. I have also read on here that the quality does sound better via AUX but hands free would be ideal.
