Me i think that i need a V6 and 1000hp you know 2 V6 in one a v12.

the highway mileage on paper between the 6 and and the 8 was only 5 miles.......yeah not enough to ever even consider! SS 4LIFE!

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

I do - 1. could have got the cash for clunkers rebate. 2. could have saved $10k 3. could have supercharged it for $3k and got 400 hp out of it...maybe add $2k for the intercooler and parts etc.

Yeah I actually originally ordered a v6, and was glad I was convinced to change the order to an SS. Originally, I rationalized to myself why I should get the v6 (cheaper, better gas mileage and lower grade gas, cheaper maintenance as far as tires, brakes, the V6 should be 'fast enough', etc). But some friends thought better and talked me out of it. I'm glad they did. I've driven both (v6 on a test drive at dealer before I got my SS). It's like night and day.

That being said, if I got the v6, I would go truly bare bones (LS with minimal options) to make it a true 'value' performance car. I would not get the 2LT, etc, since at that point you are spending so much you might as well get an SS.

That's why I could not pull the trigger to go with the 2LT it was mostly for the leather but since I was spending that much I just got the 1SS.
