Strut Tower Brace
Can someone direct me to one that will fit my 2010 2SS? I don't want to have to drill any holes, I just want a bolt on. If there is one.

Your 2010 has no holes, so you would need to drill. I just put the OEM brace for the 1LE on today from GM Parts Direct. I got it for $105...

The stock GM brace won't work on the 2010's because the strut towers are a slightly different shape. The OP would need to use the billet adapters that Ray@RDS was making.......not sure what happened to him or his adapters ![]() ![]() I've got a stock GM brace and the billet adapters from Ray sitting in my office, never used or mounted. I decided to go with the Hotchkis brace instead. As LonDowell mentioned, mounting holes will need to be drilled in the strut towers of the 2010's regardless of what brace is used.

That being said I would recommend checking out the BMR Strut Tower Brace (2 Point) Part # STB013. It is a fairly straight forward install. ![]() I can also provide you with detailed instructions for install. Please feel free to call, PM or email me with questions. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

I bought a BMR strut brace and had it chromed. I bought it just because I liked the way it looked. It's designed to fit a 2010SS but I still had to drill 4 holes. I felt the same way you do and didn't want to drill any holes but it had to be done. Ended up being easy and not a big deal, you will have to decide if drilling the holes is worth how the brace looks in your car.

2010 and early 2011 models don't have holes drilled for one to add a strut tower brace. If you don't have the holes already drilled you will need to do this.

I like that BMR brace; It's large, but it looks good!

BMR, Hotchkins sell direct fit braces. But if you do decide to go with the OEM brace, you can get the adapter pieces from tpis.com. Just type in strut in the search box and the part will come up. They are on back order atm, but the wait is worth it.

I had an Integra several years ago. One certain corner I could take at 35-40 mph. Put a stb on and the same corner I could take about 50 mph. But I had to watch it though because on that car it strenghtened it enough that the back end wanted to come around on me if I pushed too hard. |
