Parking at college, Almost Hit by a Horse trailer, and other things
Hey C5! This was originally going to just be a post to put up some updated pictures, but I found that my rambling has made it much more interesting than that. So, forget the rambling, and lets just do some simple updates.
First off, I just stared my first semester of college studing Radiology and specializing in Sonography. People here often ask "How should I park my car at college?" or "Do you other college students drive to school?". My simple answer is YES, I absolutly do drive my car every single day. Why? Because I love it! ...Aslo, I have no other choice. So, I park wisely. See pictures 1 and 2. One of my other updates I stared to talk about was my ALMOST accident. I was sitting facing uphill, about to turn left onto a winding, scenic country drive (the long way, but the best way). Look right, look left. Gotta wait. Look right agian and it happens in slow motion. A truck hauling a horse trailer is traveling WAY too fast for the curves of the road and end up out of sync with the trailer. The trailer jack knifes and becomes detached from the truck. Next thing I know, the trailer is coming toward me down the road with no breaks. It crosses traffic, which is squeeling to a halt, still headed toward me. The trailer ended up in a ditch but still had a lot of speed. It would have hit me if the tree had not been there to stop it. Oh, and the horse was fine. See picture 3. The other thing speaks for its self... I got busted at the toll tag. I haven't put a toll tag in my car and some how ended up on a toll road. Oh well, the bill was only $8. 20 points to the person that can decipher my license plate, because I have no idea how they did. BTW, ya can't do it. See picture 4.

I know right?
I looked it up and apparently it's Texas state prisoners that read them off and send the bill

So many questions!
1. You have an SS front end but stock V6 steel wheels? 2. Surely you can dispute the toll ticket given the license number is indecipherable? |

I drive mine almost daily in the summer. I park very carefully and inspect the cars around me for the ones that you can tell take care of their cares. I normally find the out most spot and park close to the outside line to avoid door dings though. Other times I simply park in BFE. Every once in awhile I get that one guy that parks right beside me out there, so I had these made for fun.

She acted like nothing happened! She just took her time getting out of the truck and walked over. By the time she stopped there was already somebody checking on the horse, lucky enough a vet.
She wanted us to not call the police and I was like... "Uh no, not when you act like its no big deal". She told the police officer that they would get the trailer out with their truck, the officer, however, called a tow truck and had it taken off. I seriously thought it was going to hit me, it stopped about 4-5 feet away. Quote:
2) I didn't argue with it because I knew it was my car. But I have NO idea how the read it!
