I saw only one IOM there Mike, I asked Cory whose it was, he said it was the owners car. Yours must not have been there when I was there doing paperwork.

I flew into buffalo around 930, was at the dealer by 1015. Out the door at 1230 after being offered every protectant, sealant, warranty and extra coverage imaginable!

Steve was a REALLY nice guy, Cory was awesome, picked us up at the airport, bought me and my girlfriend coffee, got all the paperwork ready and I signed and out the door we went!

The car is AMAZING! I love everything! Except one thing... the seatbelt chafes the hell out of my neck! And I absolutely hate those seatbelt covers! Too "pepboys-ish" for me!

Our trip was a total of 660 miles. So she's pretty much broken in now that we just got home to va, which is pretty convenient! We stopped over at a friends house in south Jersey and woke up this morning to finish the trip home. She's gonna get registered in a few minutes, and then washed! God I love this car!

Here's a pic from a random (but really nice) NY rest stop...

Is anyone who ordered from Basil Chevrolet, and not taken delivery yet, interested in buying some of my GM card points?

I would need to add you to my GM card account in order for you to be eligible for the $1000 in allowed GM card earnings. In order for me to do that we would need to work something out ahead of time in terms of payment.

Like I would give you $1000 GM card points for $800. You would pay me the $800 with a bank check or certified money order. Once the check clears I would add you to my account and then let Steve know that you were eligible for $1000 of my GM card points. At time of sale they call GM card to redeem the points. Then after the sale I remove you from my account.

It's like getting an extra $200!

I wanted to offer this to someone from here first and if no interest I will post it for everyone else. I only have $1500 or so left so I can only do $1000 for 1 person and then could do another $500 or so for a 2nd person

TRM,
Thanks again for starting this thread, I am glad I jumped on the Basil train. My other car I ordered came in last night and I already have 2,300 miles on the one from Basil. The trip to Buffalo, the service from Basil, the dinner at Russell's, the 2 nights at the Salvador hotel and a day at Niagara were great, but the drive home was priceless. I would recommend this to anyone.

Thanks again Trent!!!!

Steve D. and Joe Basil Chevrolet have surpassed everyones expectations.....

It's June and I believe we ALL have our cars, delivered on the terms as promised! I will travel across the country to buy from Steve again!

Seriously TRM, I can not thank you enough for postin this thread, and talking to me on the phone about Steve...

Funny story, I have yet to get my tags, so I'm driving around Cincinnati with NY transit tags, and the big ole "Basil" plate on the rear. It got my oil changed yesterday at Castrucci Chevy in Cincy, it was funny to see the car on the lift with the big BASIL plate still on it!!!

I also had to get some new Chevrolet sill plates. Mine were peeling up as well...

JDBeck... Car looks fantastic. Look like the weather treated you well. I had to drive 440 miles through the freaking rain!!!

That's the last time "Vanessa" will ever see rain.....

Does that mean you're not going to hang out with us in Ohio this fall?

Yep, sure did, we dodged the rain by a day at both ends! I lucked out, but have a metric TON of bug guts to clean off the front bumper!

You guys (and everyone else) are most welcome. No thanks are necessary- however I have added my address to the beginning of the thread for cash donations now that I have the payment book.
