They're just clipped in along with a small strips of double sided tape. You can use a trim removal tool (I prefer the plastic/nylon versions over the metal) to apply steady pressure outward to release the tape and clips. Pretty easy if you take it slow and in small sections at a time.

Gonna pick some up from home depot later I have alot of plans for my car. I was wondering you guys that are lining stuff off how are you getting it to peel away so easy. Last time I used this stuff I couldn't get a fine line for anything.

If you need a fine line, you have to put down all your coats down at once. Wait maybe 15-30 seconds between coats then pull your masking tape off while the PD is still wet. Pull down and/or away from the PD coated area.

I did it, I plastidipped my fuel door. After seeing everyone else work I had to try it.

The first attempt was a miserable failure. I tried to do it with the fuel door still on the car. In an attempt to get the edges around the fuel door, I managed get an uneven spray that ruined it.

Second attempt, I removed the fuel door, and just put it on a work bench, and it was much easier. Love the look.

It was a painful experience at first, felt almost wrong putting a product called "Plastidip" on my car, but by the time I was finished, I was very happy. I think I'm catching a case of Plastidip fever. When it warms up, I think some Le Mans style fender stripes are in my future.
