Yes I know all about the headlights, and who the fbodfather is. I won't doubt his word as some have.

Thanks. I've been reading everything for a while and didn't see anything definitive one way or another regarding the taillights. When I saw theses latest rounds of images with the amber turn signals next to the red ones, the amber ones have a "temporary" look to them (just plain plastic lenses) and in comparison the red ones have diffusion patterns molded in and a little bit of shape to them and so they look quite a bit more like real lenses than the ambers ones do. So, naturally I had a panic attack because the red ones started to look like the real deal and the ambers looked like they might be the only temps out there. Nevermind my rant.

On another subject, I really like those red Brembos and I hope those are standard on the V8 models. They look amazing! If GM is reading these topics let them know that here's another vote for the Brembos, even if it costs a bit more on the sticker.

A lot of people are screaming "SS" in various circles and online journals, but I'm not of the same opinion. I think the SS will look a lot different from the car we see here and it probably won't be available for sale until the year after the first of the 5th-gen models.

And here sare some new pics:

He was probably squating down.

I can't help but stop and look with awe at these photos, this is probably the least polarizing design I've seen on a car in years.

All these pictures are just overwhelming me. Great finds! The pictures with the headlights turned on got me wondering if there's been any discussion on where the DRL's will be located? I prefer the DRL location in the turn signals, but I think GM has been moving away from that recently.

Just found this site and...IT'S GREAT!!!! Much thanks to the creator

Still have dreams of driving in my 69 SS which I had to sell in 1982. Haven't been able to find her to try and get her back. A real void in my life as I had the car during some really fun times.

But now I can look forward to this new beautiful beast! Can't wait to get one and start modding it (although it'll be a whole different technology from back in the day).

By the way, really like the "placeholder" headlights for a retromodern look buuuuut....must have the classic, single round (with new technology lighting source of course).

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait

Based on the direction of your comment, it would seem you believe that the Z28 will be the lower level of the 2 V8s and SS will be the top dog.

I still haven't figured it out, and Scott continues to keep us in suspense.

I think GM could go either way with it.
