This is an excellent post Ted!

You've sold me on a set of LT's and a tune for my car. Now I just need to decide on which ones and wait for spring to come.

Hmm, I'm certainly not arguing at all but Solo has a dyno run chart posted on their site showing a 22 peak gain. So you believe that's inflated?

Considering L99s average 335 RWHP and make as much as 345 stock Yes.

Using a Low baseline to show a big gain.

Nice work Ted. Glad you had the time to put this together to (hopefully) reduce the redundancy we see on the forums.

Let's get to building better Camaros.....one smart move at a time!

Certainly My First choice, there is Plenty of work to go around for everyone and we as Vendors Need to Help and support each other in stead of trying to hurt each other.

But there is always that 1 guy in every crowd.

Ted.

TB, Throttle response only
Intake, No
Ported Heads, really depends on Cam and compression typically 5-15 HP.
UDP about 3-8 depending on RPM turned.

I noticed the intakes you tested with the JRE Scoop were 4-5 peak HP over the intake without the scoop. Do you see any reason these gains would not carry over to other intakes, such as the Halltech Yellow Jacket? Also, would the tune need to be adjusted after adding the scoop?

Seriously a great explanation to entry level modding! Thanks Ted. And thanks for giving me the advice on ditching the Borla Headers. Ive read good things about the Dinatech Headers, so lets do those. Do i need them ceramic coated or wrapped in heat tape? I'm calling your shop Monday and hopefully by the end of next week, I'll be driving back to upstate NY with a sh*t eating grin on my face!
