Some here may think I am crazy, but I fell in love with the front of the new Camaro from the concept drawings with the Halo Lights. It's just not the same to me, without them. So I am going to return it and order exactly what I want.

The one I have now kind of fell into my lap. (2SS M6, ICE Silver, with 21" GMPP Wheels, Sun Roof, Loaded, Austin,TX. I did not order it, the dealer simply called me because I had contacted them about buying a Camaro. I am not sure how they manged to actually get one in.

If anyone is interested (not to be a salesman) You can contact Champion Cheverlet in Austin, TX. The car only has 1300mi on it, I have not got on it at all,was still breaking it in and it stays in my garage. BTW, Champion thus far has treated me better than any other dealership that I have dealt with. They have been absolutely fantastic.



Anyway, sorry to break the news to you on this. I wish someone had told me, before I bought the car....

Bummer. Thanks for the heads up! Hopefully the aftermarket folks will solve that problem then. She's a beautiful machine, and it wasn't until I was able to see her up close that I found I preferred the lack-o-spoiler. There's a certain j'un cest quoi about that look.

The spoler delete probably would have been an easier fix and much cheaper then modding the headlights to fit halo's

If you want factory halo's order the RS package. Well worth it price wise.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:
Some customers may request that the standard headlamps be ungraded to the RPO T4F High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps. This is not an available upgrade. The T4F HID headlights are part of the WRS option package and cannot be added or upfitted on this vehicle.

Recommendation/Instructions:
DO NOT attempt to upfit standard headlamps to the T4F HID headlamps. This upfit is not supported by engineering. It is necessary to order the vehicle with RPO WRS to get the T4F HID headlamps.

Please do not contact Technical Assistance for this concern, the feature simply cannot be added.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.

If you give it enough time, somebody will come up with rs style headlights to fit your stock ones. You can get projector headlights with the halo rings right now for an 08 silverado, so i'd give it another 2 years, maybe less because there is so much desire for it.

yeah when the HID halo lights come in at 600 bucks a side the package is very worth it

GM should add a Halo light package option. I didn't order the RS package because of the 20" wheels. I would really like the halos... but... I will live without them.

As a daily driver, tires that cost 400 per tire are a bit too much.

I put the 19" Polished on, they look basically the same, and the tires are 200 a piece.

I wish there was some other option..

I am sure if you ordered the RS package and didn't want the wheels, you could sell them for what the RS package cost you and get whatever you wanted. Trailblazer SS 20's were going for around 1200 on ebay last time I looked. I am sure you could find somebody to swap with +cash for you too to get the smaller wheels.

I have a question. Will aftermarket halolights work the same with the non rs wiring harness just as you use the harness with the oem halolights
