Isn't Citgo the national oil company of Venezuela's retail sales arm?

There isn't much difference between gas, particularly between branded gas.

Personally, I'd use ethanol free fuel anywhere I can get it.

Here's a useful link for you as well. It's a bit hit-and-miss sometimes because anyone can edit it, but it is still useful none-the-less.

I guess my question should be:
Shell with Ethanol or Citgo with out Ethanol

I put 5 Gallions in my car today, almost emtpy < 1/8 tank so I could get home till I get gas from my station I normally get.

I usually get gas at a Shell station that has Ethanol in it. E10

Citgo is owned by the socialist nightmare we call Venezuela, so none of my greenbacks will ever go there.

Thank you.

Yeah, but isn't Shell owned by the socialist nightmare we call the Netherlands?

Citgo gas is not a "Top Tier" fuel which means it only contains the EPA minumum required amount of detergents, that said Shell should be the only choice for your Camaro.

I had heard there was a station that had straight gas not and ethanol mix. And had heard that Ethanol free will make your car run better.

I just wanted to try it.

"Top Tier" is more of a gimmick than anything. Just one of many. Every brand has their own marketing terminology do describe the same, or at least very similar things. I'd rather have non-"top tier" pure gas than "top tier" gasohol any day.

Even if there was a very minute difference, a tiny difference in carbon buildup over 150k miles can be sea-foamed out in 20 minutes. The corrosive effects of ethanol are worse and permanent.
