Can someone tell me how to remove the brake calipers ? I have tried and have no clue what to do.

Doyou want to totally remove them? If so I would not do it unless you know how to bleed brakes.

If you just want to take them off but not remove from the brake lines, here you go.

Kind of an ironic question, given your C5 name. If you don't know but are hell bent on doing this, do yourself a favor and get an AllData.com account. (I think it's like $17 for a year.) Set up your account with your year, make, and model and you can access all you need to learn how to do this. You can even access diagrams you may find very useful. Good luck.

I was thinking the same thing. But good for the OP for tyring, that is how you learn and become a DIYKing.

Two big bolts hold it to the knuckle, on the backside. Don't mess with the smaller reverse torx bolts or you'll see what a caliper looks like split in half.

Just asking so I can avoid the area

, Brakes are not the best thing for a novice to be messing with IMHO!

Two bolts, one brake line. Install by pushing the pad on top of the piston back in a bit, then install over the rotor, reconnect the brake line (you will have to bleed the brakes afterwards), then reinstall the two bolts previously removed.

Never step on the brake pedal with the caliper removed or the brake line disconnected. Do not get brake fluid on anything painted.

LED dome, DRL, and tag lights. Paint- Painted engine cover, steering wheel bezel, speedometer bezel, front bowtie, tail light bezels, wheel center caps. Exterior lights- tinted tail lights and sidemarker lights. Wheels- powdercoated stock RS 20' wheels black Exhaust- Cat-back Dynomax Bullet Exhaust system with bullet muffler delete. Misc- rear blackout kit from Big Worm Graphix, black side Camaro lettering from Emblem Pros, and rear Camaro lettering from Emblem Pros.
