just my luck

Not even 1500 miles into owning the car, come out of a red light, boom..... busted thenrear passenger side axle. Ugh...

I would hope so, warranty that is. I just hope something was wrong with my car, and this isnt a sign of a crappy made line. I havent seen anything about people busting boots. I dont know if it took some damage from potholes, and this was just icing on the cake or what, but its irritating that now I have to arrange transportation to work and taking kids to daycare in the morning and its 11 at night. I have a pic on my phone ill post up in a few but the battery has to charge

Im just hoping I dont have one of those bs dealers, I mean car is bone stock. I dont even think its ever hit redline...but ive heard horror stories of dealers.

Early production cars (2010) had issues with axles snapping. This is the first 2013 I've heard of with the same problem.

So chevy dealer says sounds like its coming straight from the rear diff. They will have it on the lift first thing in the am...

Btw dont know why this got moved to cosmetic maintenance...

there's a couple guys on here recently that have threads about their axle/boots having issues, leaking or having damage to them.

Hope this isn't the 2013 version of the V6 engine oil loss or vert top issues :(
