The Z/28 is back powered by a 500+ LS7. This is a rack ready beast with 19" 305/30 rubber all round, carbon ceramic brakes, special aero, coolers and more.THE Z/28 is BACK!

The recipe was; no MR, no SC, add MonoTubes, add Aero and add the LS7..I think they heard us. GM Engineers = BIG WIN! (Designers = ???)

I do love those wheels.

I trust the passion and sincerity was evident. And a BIG thanks to those directly involved...

I suspect one area where we may have missed was on price...but "added content" has a way of swelling such things.

Yes, I doubt that the Z28 is going to be an inexpensive vehicle. I have a feeling that the Z28 is going to more expensive than many people were thinking it would or should be priced. I think that people should prepare themselves for a bit of sticker shock.

The Z/28 is better than a C7 Vette. A C7 Z06 would be about right.

Yeah, the mid 40's price point that we were kinda hoping for seems unlikely with all that they've done on the car. My gut tells me that its going to start at at least 50 grand.

Look who else is using the new tires... that's a pretty good recommendation

For me it's a toy not a DD so those creature comforts are unnecessary. It is what I'd want without adding to it. Concerns? Ugly rear, ugly hood and the biggie $$$$$.

The Z/28 would be an ideal choice for me as a DD. I would add AC and a stereo. I would also add a cam, Harrop Hurricane or FAST intake and a tune along with select bushes, bars and Supercars. I would wear out the ZEROs and replace them with RE-11s for DD and add a second set of Forgeline's with slicks for track days. There is no such thing as enough of a good thing.

After spending a full day with the Z/28 and 2014 refresh I can honestly say there isn't a bad line on the car. I spoke at length with Tom Peters and believe the new look is closer to what TEAM Camaro wanted back in 09, but could not deliver for a variety of reasons. The look in person is meaner, leaner and just plain Bad Axx.
